Minister of State, Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has said that the Federal Government is ready to work with Aviation experts to build the industry and make it viable to meet with international standard.
Sirika made this statement when a delegation of Concerned Airport professionals led by Engr. Sani Baba paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.
The Minister expressed his delight with members of the group and their commitment to help in finding solutions to issues and challenges that affect the growth of the Aviation industry.
He said, “I am delighted to see that you find time to organize yourselves into a concerned group and have the time to come to me and make valuable contributions on the way Aviation industry can be moved forward”.
He assured that the President will continue to encourage Private Investors in the Aviation Industry to do their businesses in line with international best practices.
Hadi Sirika appealed to the Members of the Concerned Airport Professionals to make themselves available when they are called to assist in finding solutions to the Challenges facing the Aviation Industry.
He thanked the group for coming and assured them of Government’s determination to revamp the sector.
Earlier, Engr. Shittu, former MD of FAAN made a Power Point Presentation where he highlighted the current Situation of the Aviation industry, prospects, challenges and way forward.
