A new group, the New York Political Coalition (NYPC), was launched at Diversity Plaza in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York, United States of America (USA) on Friday, September 24, 2021.
The Coalition, according to its President Eunice Ukwuani, is a nonpartisan organization with a mission of civic participation, good governance, effective political representation and citizens’ easy access to voting systems.
Eva Boyce-Leonard from Port Authority of New York and New Jersey -JFK International Airport helped to set the patriotic tune for the launch with her singing of “God Bless America” followed by remarks by the President of NYPC, Ukwuani, and Co-Founder Sheikh Musa Drammeh.
Both Eunice and Sheikh have done due diligence in order to make the vision of the New York Political Coalition to become a reality.
The event was a huge success as elected officials, activists, community leaders and residents came out and many spoke at the event.
Assemblywoman Jennifer Rajkumar praised the efforts of NYPC and noted the importance of the coalition towards building a better and more prosperous City.
The promoters thanked Assemblywoman Jennifer for coming out to support the movement and the great community work they are doing. They also appreciated such partners as TV Sunday, Agha New York and all other partners for coming on board.
The next launch of the Coalition is planned for Manhattan.
