Nigerian winger set to join AC Milan

24-year old Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, will join Italian Serie A side AC Milan this week from Spanish club, Villarreal.

The transfer which has dominated discussions over the summer got the breakthrough on Monday July 24.

This follows agreements by both clubs for a twenty million euros transfer fee plus eight million in performance related add-ons.

According to multiple sources, Samuel Chukwueze has negotiated for and agreed to personal terms with the Rossoneri and so will finally end his Villarreal stay this week.

The left-footed Nigerian winger is expected in Italy this week for Medicals, after which formal announcements will follow for a five-year contract.

24-year old Samuel Chukwueze has spent his entire career in Spain with Villarreal, taking in over 200 appearances since a 2018 transfer from Diamond Academy following a starring performance at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
