Osinbajo becomes Acting Commander-in-Chief Monday as President Buhari goes on leave

President Muhammadu Buhari has informed the Senate of his intention to proceed on a 10-day working leave from January 23 to February 6.

Acc‎ording to a letter to the Senate, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will act as the Commander-in-Chief during the period.

The transmission of the letter to the Senate was ‎in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
