Gov. Phil Murphy speaks today at ‘Juneteenth Celebration’ – African-American Freedom Day

Governor Philip Dunton Murphy of New Jersey, United States of America will, today, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 be the Key Speaker at the “Juneteenth Celebration 2019.”

The Juneteenth Celebration is in commemoration of the Black Independence Day on June 19, 1865, the day that Black Slaves were legally freed in the United States.

This year’s celebration in New Jersey is taking at the Church of The Oranges, A Seventh-Day Adventist Congregation and starts at 6 pm.

Other Guest Speakers for the event are Dr. Antoinette Ellis-Williams and P.O.P Founder, Lawrence Hamm.

Front-line religious, political and socio-cultural black leaders are expected to be part of the historic event.
