Prince Ejike Stanley Nwankwo, retired Customs top shot, for burial today

Comptroller of Customs (Rtd.), Prince Ejike Stanley Nwankwo of Umulogho Obowo, Imo State, will be laid to eternal rest today.

He passed on to glory aged 63.

The family, in a notice by Chiaza S. Nwankwo, had said that the final home-going programme for the man of the people will include a Vigil Mass and Wake Keep at his residence in Umuokpa, Umulogho, in Obowo Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State yesterday, Friday, August 28, 2026,

A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Umulogho, Obowo LGA, Imo State today, Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11a.m, and interment will follow immediately after the Mass.

On Sunday, August 30, 2026, a Thanksgiving Mass will hold at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Umulogho, Obowo LGA, Imo State, from 8.30a.m to round off the programme.

A much-loved gentleman, the late Prince Ejike Stanley Nwankwo diligently served his immediate community, his country Nigeria, and, indeed, humanity, and is being mourned, not only by his immediate and extended family, but by many others at home and abroad who he positively impacted in the course of his earthly sojourn, some of who have travelled long distances to pay him their last respects.
