RCCG holds 64th Annual Convention; Ordains 876 Pastors, 1825 Assistant Pastors, 8551 Deacons and Deaconesses.

The 64th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, will holding from August 1-7, 2016 at The Arena of the Redemption Camp, Km 56, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will witness the ordination of 876 Pastors on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Also, 1825 Assistant Pastors and 8551 Deacons and Deaconesses have been ordained on Tuesday and Monday August 2 and 1, 2016 respectively. The theme of the Convention is AMEN and ministering is the General Overseer, G.O, of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other Anointed Men of God. The Convention that have started off on a glorious note with the ordination of Deacons and Deaconesses and Assistant Pastors will continue with Melody Hour on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, Service of Songs and Deliverance Service on Thursday, August 4 and Holy Ghost Service on Friday, August 5, 2016. Saturday, August 6, 2016 will witness Baptism Services, Elders and Good Women meetings and Children’s Hour, and climax with the Holy Communion Service. The ordination of Pastors and Farewell Service will hold on Sunday, August 7. Pastor Adeboye, has said that the 64th Convention is an opportunity for encounter with Jesus Christ, the AMEN, stressing that “As Amen also means so let it be,” that “God will be answering prayers like we’ve never seen before at this year’s convention,” assuring that all prayers that have not yet been answered “will all receive answers in Jesus’ mighty name (Matt. 7-12). “
