General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has said that the Church is about to enter a new phase and that the COVID-19 pandemic is the signal for the new move.

Pastor Adeboye said this at the closing session of the 2020 Ministers’ and Workers’ Conference of the North American Operations of the Church.

Speaking on the theme of the Conference, “Higher Vision,” the General Overseer said that the pandemic had prepared the Church for the new phase and challenged the Ministers and Workers to look towards that more glorious new future than the present.

He used Prophet Elisha as case study for his ministrations at the Virtual Conference which had in attendance Ministers and Workers from all the Regions under the North America Operations of the Church.

Mummy G.O, the wife of Pastor Adeboye, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, speaking on “Higher Heights, Higher Vision,” stressed the importance of vision, warning that without a higher vision the congregations will be stunted.

She listed some conditions that must be met for higher vision to be released by God, the giver of divine vision.

The two-day Conference (Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, 2020) also had Apostle I.V. Hilliard of the New Light Christian Center in Houston Texas ministering on Higher Vision, Divine Strategies for attaining victory, avenues for accessing the Divine Strategies and how to attract the strategies – by seeking them, serving for them and sowing for them.

The Special Assistant to the General Overseer, SATGO, and Chairman, RCCG North America Operations, Pastor James Fadel, also ministered, on day one, on the necessity for unity if the Church is to attain the new levels of spectacular success that it must attain.

On day two, Pastor Fadel using Revelation 4: 1 spoke on the urgency of the invitation/command of God to come higher.

Pastor Ghandi Olaoye, on day one, ministered on “Church Membership – A Real Shift.”  He stressed the need to adapt to the demands of the new realities of the times and outlined areas that must be addressed or strengthened to meet the needs of the congregation and the community.

There were panel sessions, especially on how to engage Church members in the new normal as well as on how to bridge the gap between the generations.

There were also prayer sessions and great music ministrations during the very successful Conference that can still be accessed on the social media platforms of the Church – www.rccg.na.org, @RCCGNAO, and on YouTube.
