When New York City Commissioner, Laurie Cumbo, Hon. Bobby Digi Olisa, their son Prince displayed African haute couture for Met Gala

New York Commissioner of Cultural Affairs, Laurie Cumbo, culture aficionado, community leader and social activist, Hon. Bobby Digi Olisa and their son, Prince were the cynosure of all eyes as they made their dramatic grand entry into the recent 2024 Met Gala in the City that never sleeps.

The trio appeared at Met Gala, the biggest fashion party night worldwide, led in by traditional drummers, dressed in spectacular haute couture created by Moshood Creations which did great credit to African fashion and the imposing personalities that wore the perfectly fitted clothes.

Here are some more pictures of the daring designs won by Cumbo, Digi Olisa and Prince, crafted by the New York-based Afrocentric fashion icon, whose black and bold aesthetics have been embraced by such global celebrities as Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Tyson Beckford, Maxi Priest and Erykah Badu.

Other fashionistas were equally at the historic and well attended glitz and glamor event.
