Wike challenges contractors to maintain tempo of work on projects

Rivers  State Governor,  Nyesom Wike  has  challenged contractors  to maintain  the  tempo of work  going  across  Port Harcourt,  the state capital.

Governor  Wike  spoke, Saturday  as he led Senator  Representing  Rivers  East  Senatorial  District,  Senator George  Thompson  Sekibo  and Senator Representing  Rivers  South East Senatorial  District,  Senator  Olaka  Nwogu  on projects’  inspection.

Interacting with contractors at different project sites, Governor Wike expressed happiness that his vision of a New Rivers State is taking shape.

He charged the contractors to work assiduously towards delivering good results as the people of the state have already suffered years of neglect by the previous administration.

Alongside the Senators and technical officials in his entourage, the governor examined details of the work already done at different sites.

Senator  Olaka Nwogu  who was participating  in  the  governor’s project inspection  for the first  time  commended Governor  Wike  for living  up to  his campaign  promises.

Governor Wike, on a mission to revive decayed infrastructure in Rivers State embarks on very regular projects inspections across the state.
