Deaconess Esther Oligwe Ogbonnia joins the Saints Triumphant @88

The matriarch of the Ogbonnia family, Deaconess Esther Oligwe Ogbonnia (Nee Uzoagbala) has joined the Saints Triumphant @88.

Her transition, according to a statement on behalf of the family by Dr. Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, her son and the Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, occurred at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, Enugu on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

She was highly endowed and exceptional in the faith, and is blessed with children – Dr. Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, PhD; SKC Ogbonnia, PhD, Ọzọ Clifford Ogbonnia, Ozo Obi-Jackson Ogbonnia, Chief Mrs. Francisca Okafor, Miss Eyiuche Ogbonnia, and Ọzọ Olisa Uzoagbala Ogbonnia as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements, the statement concluded, will be announced later.
