The family of Ichie Mathias Ikemenanwa of Umuozeonyeugha Umuosiochie, Obowo in Imo State, Nigeria, has announced the passing unto glory of their beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and friend, late Lolo Mrs. Victoria Ikeme at the age of 97 (1927 – 2024).
They have, in a statement by Mr. Mathias Ikeme, for the family, also announced the funeral arrangements as follows:
Thursday, April 11, 2024:
5:00 PM – Vigil Mass
Friday, April 12, 2024:
8:00 – Body leaves Mercy Hospital Mortuary Umulogho, Obowo and makes a brief stopovers at:
Umuezeagu Ehume (Her Home Town), Uhuri Umuokoro Umuariam
Umulogho Obowo.
9:00 AM – Lying in state at her husband’s compound.
11:00 AM – Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Umuosochie
1:00PM – Internment.
Lolo Mrs. Ikeme, a devout Christian mother and highly respected community leader, a philanthropist and lover of peace is survived by Mrs. Franca Imoh nee Ikeme, Mrs. Regina Ejikem nee Ikeme, Mr. Mathias Ikeme, Jude Ikeme, Basil Ikeme, Mrs. Rosary Amechi Akwuruoha nee Ikeme, Rev. Fr. Vitus Ikeme, Agartha N. Ogu nee Ikeme.
The late beloved Lolo Mrs. Ikeme, who is being mourned by many all over the world who she impacted positively while alive, also left behind Ngozi Ikeme and Onyinyechi Ikeme (daughters-in-law), 23 grand children and 24 great grandchildren.
