NPFL Champions Rivers United will face Watanga FC of Liberia while Plateau United FC are paired against Stade Mandji of Gabon in the CAF Champions League.
The winner of the Rivers United FC vs Watanga FC tie will face defending Champions Wydad Casablanca in the second round.
Esperance of Tunisia will be the second round Challenge for the winner of the Plateau United vs Stade Mandji clash.
In the CAF Confederation Cup, Remo Stars have been drawn against ASFAR of Morocco in the first round.
The winner will face the winner of the match between AAGBS of Guinea and Nouakchott CS of Mauritania in the next round.
Kwara United FC are paired against AC Doaunes of Niger Republic in the first round. The winner of the match will take on defending Champions RS Berkane of Morocco in the Second round.
The first leg will take place on the 9-11 of September 2022 with the return legs on the 16-18 September 2022.
The second round will take place in October 2022 while the money-spinning group stage will hold from February to March 2023. The final of both CAF club competitions will take place in June 2023.
