Senator Wamakko visits students on his scholarship in Pakistan

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko,representing Sokoto North Senatorial District,  has visited the twenty five( 25 ) students he is currently  sponsoring for Graduate and Postgraduate studies in University of Lahore, Pakistan.

A statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bashir Rabe Mani said Senator Wamakko, who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education was on a one-week official visit to Pakistan.

The statement further stated that the students are studying  various courses ranging from Medicine, Information, Communication and Technology, as well as Administration.

This is in addition  to other students currently studying in other Universities abroad such as the University of Medina, as well as others in Ghana, Benin, Sudan and Niger Republic.

The lawmaker who was a former Governor of the state is also sponsoring several other students in Nigeria at the  Diloque Computer Institute, Kaduna, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto and Sokoto State University.
