Pastor Samuel Oladele, the new President of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, has admonished all Christians to vote for candidates that will protect the interest of Christianity in Nigeria in 2023 election.
Oladele gave the admonition on Wednesday, during an interview with Pressmen at the 2022 Pastors Conference, held at CAC Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
The theme for the Conference is: “Growing in the Grace and Knowledge of the Lord.”
“The forthcoming general election is the one that we must be interested in, as we cannot afford to remain complacent while decisions that affect our faith are being made.
“We shall be guided by the criteria provided by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for election of our next set of political leaders in Nigeria.
“I make bold to declare loud and clear that the interest of the Kingdoms of God and of His Christ is more important than all other interests,” he maintained.
Oladele charged Christians to allow the interest of God’s Kingdom to guide their consideration of who to vote for in the forthcoming general election in Nigeria.
He lamented the level of insecurity, decline of socio-economic infrastructures as well as nonchalance of those trusted to provide the desired solution to these problems.
The President, who assured that there’s hope for the nation, as God rules in the affairs of men, charged them to continue praying for the country as they play their roles as responsible citizens.
The cleric confirmed that righteousness remains the panacea to the reproach of Nigeria and urged them not only to preach it, but to practice righteousness.
He also appealed to the ministers of God to grow in the grace and knowledge of God, allow all the lectures heard to have positive impact in their lives as well as in the lives of members of their churches.
Also, the General Evangelist of the Church, Evang. Hezekiah Oladeji, attributed all atrocities being committed in Christendom today to fake ministers that called themselves because of their bellies.
Oladeji said that those that God called should know how to caution themselves, face He that called them in order not to disappoint Him and assured them of their victory in all ramifications.
According to him, those that took the wrong way to the ministry might be using evil powers to assist the work of God, because they were not called.
He maintained that God owns Nigeria and that it is why His mercy endures forever concerning the country and called on all and sundry to continue praying for the country as he believed that prayers are the only panacea to get to the promised Land.
In the same vein, Pastor Gideon Oladokun, the Chairman of Christ Apostolic Church Conferences and Conventions in Nigeria and Overseas, said that the Conference was established for the growth of pastors in CAC Worldwide.
Oladokun commended the CAC President for assigning capable lecturers for the wonderful lectures that disseminated the true word of God to the ministers, stressing that they have been blessed.
He added that the church authorities want the churches under CAC to grow and for all the pastors to achieve so that there would be radical changes in the lives of the pastors and so that the Church will be positively impacted.
The Chairman disclosed that more than 12,000 pastors attended the 2022 Pastors Conference.
