The colourful stickers which are mostly pasted on cars and some other items have the picture of Odubu for the 2016 governorship election and this is coming as part of the build up to party primaries.
There was nearly a traffic gridlock along the Akpakpava, mission road and New Benin axis Tuesday morning as motorists and passers by slowed down to catch a glimpse of the colourful stickers of the incumbent deputy governor.
The first car stickers ever on the APC platform sends a clear signal that Dr Odubu and his foot soldiers are getting ready to consolidate their strategy towards emerging the APC Governorship candidate come later this month when the primary is expected to hold.
Some residents who spoke on the development described it as most appropriate.
One of those who commented, Madam Obaze, who sells roasted plantain by Igbesanwan, while speaking to our Correspondent, said “I just hope that this man called Odubu gets the governorship ticket. I have seen other posters but we don’t know them. This man has been with our Comrade and I believe he has the experience.”
“This man will do good after Oshiomhole, because he has been learning. He get experience and the man dey calm,” she said.
