How Governor Fayose escaped death; Car burnt down in Lagos – Lere Olayinka

The SA (Public Communications and New Media) to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has confirmed that the Governor miraculously escaped being burnt in his car in Lagos.

According to the Governor’s aide, a mysterious fire started under the vehicle as it was heading to the airport and though Governor Fayose was supposed to be in the car at that time, he was not.

Olayinka said, “There was an accident involving Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose’s vehicle on his way to the airport yesterday.

“Though he was meant to be in the vehicle, by providence, he was not there.

“What caused the sudden fire under the vehicle is yet to be ascertained.”

He said that “the governor is grateful to God that no casualty was recorded. He also thanked the people who made spirited efforts to put out the fire.”
