Wike visits Bayelsa, says Dickson has performed excellently

According to him, it was a clear testament to the performance of a governor who knows what good governance is all about.
 
Wike said Governor Henry Seriake Dickson has proved beyond doubt that he has all it takes to offer good leadership to people of the state and the region as he called for more support for him. 
 
A statement by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said Wike expressed his views when he visited Dickson at the Government House in Yenagoa.
 
He said, “I am not surprised because Dickson was prepared for the office and so you can see the result. You know once you are prepared for an exam, certainly you will pass very well. What I have seen today has made PDP to be proud, it has made the people of Bayelsa, the Ijaw Nation ‎and the Niger Delta to be proud.”
 
Wike expressed his desire to partner with his Bayelsa counterpart in the area of political economic development as well as develop and share common ideas for the overall good of both states‎ while adding that all is aimed at keeping the South-South zone united as it has always been.
 
On his part, Dickson thanked Wike for the visit and the kind words he showered on his government, saying he looks forward to working with him more closely to help develop regional integration.
 
“We talked about a whole lot, security and developmental matters within our region‎ and in our respective states. As we progress you will see all of this unfold and we will do so at the regional level in conjuction with all our brother governors”, Dickson said.
